Happy Valentine’s Day, good people! Do you have a photo makes you FEEL love or loved?
We’re celebrating all love today! The love between siblings. Parent and child. Pets and their humans. We’re celebrating all romantic and aromantic love of people of every expression of gender and sexuality. Because all of the love we share is important. The love you share with your friends is important. The love you have for your craft is important. And as Whitney so melodiously stated in “The Greatest Love of All,” the love and grace you have for yourself may be the best love you can ever give. All love is worthy of recognition, today and every day.
Much love from Claire, Britt, and Jazi
What makes you feel love?
“Here is my whole heart. Walking outside of body. Wild and fierce and smart. This child really expanded my understanding of what it means to nurture someone in love. Because it’s not always easy or fun. My love for Nova sustains me on those rough days and through loving her I’ve learned to have more grace for others. These giggles are my reward and they definitely make me feel love ?”
“Hanging with an old friend.”
“Rainbows are defiant in the audacity of their very existence. Science aside, I appreciate the way an arch of color can set against the sky whether the sun has come back out or the clouds still pad up there like grey and grey-er cotton balls. Rainbows are a reminder that despite whatever darkness is out in my world or inside my own head, there’s brightness, there’s vibrance, and there’s the right to just… BE. What makes us whole isn’t black or white, it’s a spectrum. For me, this manifestation of a natural contradiction represents a freedom and joy that fills me up, warms my heart, and makes me feel loved.”
