When we planned our Find the Fun theme for this year, we couldn’t imagine that on the horizon was something as devastating and universally life-changing as a global pandemic. It is hard, to say the very least, to “find the fun” when the whole world is bracing itself hoping: that the worst won’t be as bad as science predicts, that governments will protect their citizens, that people will be considerate of their neighbors and do their part to mitigate the spread of disease. So instead, while we collectively process what this virus is doing to our lives, we at Offcultured want to make a promise to you.
We promise to be a space of joy in your digital world; a soft place to land when the barrage of virus warnings and breaking news notices begin to wear you down. We won’t demand that you be “okay” or look for the silver lining in all the chaos that’s happening right now, but we will be sharing with you the bright spots that are still shining in the world.
With all that is going on and more that has yet to happen, we ask that you do your best to help keep yourself and your communities healthy.
